What is Title IX?

Title IX is a federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of gender in any educational program or activity that receives federal funds. In the college context, this includes sexual discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual violence, and sexual assault. At Blackwell, we take protecting our students from any form of discrimination or sexual violence very seriously. We are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all members of our community.

At Blackwell, we take pride in our policy of no tolerance for any form of discrimination or sexual violence. Any member of our community who experiences or witnesses an act of discrimination or sexual violence should immediately report it to our Title IX resource team.
