Professor Roberts is the founding Academic Director of the Oxford Negotiation Program at the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. He served as Director of Executive Seminars at the Harvard Kennedy School from 1996 to 2003, where his programs attracted more than 8,000 participants during his tenure. In 1999, while at Harvard, he founded The Ivy Faculty Consortium, an executive education network of faculty from Harvard, Princeton, Chicago, UC Berkeley, and other Ivy League and Ivy Caliber universities, including three Nobel laureates. Prior to Harvard, he was Associate Director and Director of Executive Education at the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies (1990-1996). Since 1980 he has taught executive, graduate and undergraduate courses on all six populated continents. His research interests are negotiation, leadership and the fundamental processes of human performance.
